Shop and love small business this COLOUR FRIDAY
Colour Friday is the brain-child of Holly Tucker, with the goal of supporting small business in the UK and ensuring they continue to thrive into 2022. Holly explains that the power to save businesses is ours - if we each buy JUST ONE Christmas gift from an independent business this year, we'll reallocate a vital £2.7 billion between us!
So why not swap some of your usual Christmas spend to support small business instead?
Here are some of my favourites:
The home of the Strong Girls Club was created by Gemma, with the aim of empowering women and girls through positive, strong and meaningful messages. Gemma creates the most beautiful colourful sweaters that my daughter Ivy wears to Nursery daily with pride most days.
Think garlands, mobiles, weavings and wall hangings. Pom poms are a recurrent theme! I find a perfect Christmas gift (often to myself!) most years from this gorgeous shop.
The makers of joyful home décor with positive sentiment for colour lovers who like to make a statement! I adore everything the talented Gabrielle makes 😍
This thoughtful site helps you reduce your waste and impact on the planet, not only with products but also with a wealth of information and advice on how to make simple switches that have a big impact.
I just LOVE the range at The Bright Company: design led, organic, ethical and most importantly - COMFORTABLE. It wouldn't be Christmas at our house without new PJs.
Gorgeous contemporary prints for adults and children, with a focus on abstract design. All three of my kids are receiving prints from Wonder and Rah this year.
This cute cacti and succulent shop in Hackney delivers a gorgeous selection of plants and accessories. Because we all need house plants that are hard to kill right?
Happy shopping! And happy #colourfriday
