Whether it's a long stay or a quick overnighter, many of us have a few extra people in our homes over the Christmas season. Here are five ideas to up the comfort factor and give your place an easy colourful refresh for a cosy stay.

Get guest ready

1. Pillowcases
Updates don't have to be large to make a big impact, a new set of pillowcases can be just the thing to add a burst of colour to the guest room (or sofa bed).

2. Extra Seating
Bean bags and floor cushions add simple extra seating to your home as well as beautiful colour and texture.

3. De-clutter with colourful storage
Hide anything you don't want seen away in the ever practical and always beautiful Mustard Made lockers.

4. Fresh towel feels
Bring some colour to the bathroom with some deliciously soft new hand and bath towels. Or made your guests smile with a cheeky bathmat.

5. Get fancy!
